Every now and then I would like to share thoughts that pop into my head and I hope they will inspire you in many different ways.  They might not be as wise as the Buddha above, but hopefully inspirational.

One day after our maple tree had just shed it's leaves and covered the ground, they inspired me to take my Buddha and place him below the tree surrounded by these incredible red leaves.

A gift from Mother Nature.

I'm reading a book called Do The Work, by Steven Pressfield.  In it he quotes one of Goethe's couplet's.  I love it and want to share it with you.  It's not only very powerful, but so true  ...

"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.  Boldness has genius, power and magic in it."

So, be bold, be brave and begin it . . . what do you have to lose?!   Nothing happens until you try.

I love Dr. Seuss!  And a book I recommend to everyone, no matter what their age is,

'Oh, The Places You'll Go!'

This is not from that book, but it's a simple yet true message from Dr. Seuss:

"Be who you are and what you feel because those who mind don't matter

and those who matter don't mind."

Bottom-line, just be yourself: strong, determined and have confidence that you can do anything you put your mind to.  And never forget these wise words from Ben Ferencz, and may I say, I  keep reminding myself of this  ALL  the time!

"It takes Courage Not To get Discouraged."

For awhile, I feel that we as a nation, and even the world, are going through tough, strenuous times, and moving forward can feel daunting.  A friend of mine forward this quote to me and it really resonated with me.  I want to share it with you because all of us at one point in our lives just wonder how we are going to make it.

Today, hang in there, hold on and be strongKeep going.  You will and you can get through this...

I don't know who wrote this, but I wish I could Thank them because it has been an immense help to me.  When I wonder, can I really do this, I repeat this quote in my head.

There is also another incredible way of thinking...well, it's more than that, it's a friggen miracle! that I've just discovered ... Everything Is Figureoutable ... by Marie Forleo.  She is so right!  And I recommend you get her book, Everything Is Figureoutable.  It's release date is September 10th.  I can't wait to get mine.  If you want to discover the 3 invisible barriers that stand between you and your biggest dreams, get this book.  You might ask, how do I know this before the book comes out?  I listen to a webinar she just had and she talked  about these barriers and how she goes into more detail about them in her book.  What she said struck a cord deep down inside me and opened up a blockage I've had for a very long time.  It was to say the least freeing and invigorating!
